ONYX BOOX Note and Supernote are both e-ink tablets for reading, note-taking and document annotation. They allow stylus input with handwriting recognition, support PDF and ePub formats for document reading, have long battery life. These devices are usually used by students, professionals and writers.

But ONYX BOOX Note is Chinese manufacturer that offers multiple models with large screen sizes, typically 10.3-inch and 13.3-inch. These tablets usually include responsive touchscreen, built-in speaker for audio books and offers access to Google Play Store apps.

Supernote is Taiwanese company that produces ereaders with smaller screen (7.8-inch and 10.3-inch models). They are known for paper-like writing experience with slower screen refresh but better stylus feel. Besides they come with flexible ceramic nib stylus designed for smoother note-taking. Supernote devices lack full Android app support but focus on a closed, minimal system for writing and reading.
