2024. Pocketbook released new Kaleido 3 e-reader Era Color



Pocketbook has introduced the new Era Color e-reader with a 7-inch color screen based on the latest generation of color e-paper Kaleido 3. The screen is ideal for viewing comics, manga and PDF files. In addition, it has improved scratch protection and is waterproof in accordance to the international IPX8 standard. The USB-C port allows you to charge the device and transfer data. You can listen to music via single speaker at the bottom of the reader or connect wireless headphones via Bluetooth. Another useful feature for those who prefer to listen to books is the text-to-speech function, which converts any text into a natural-sounding audio track. Pocketbook pays Adobe a monthly fee for using the Content Server, so you can access Adobe Digital Editions to download e-books in EPUB or PDF formats purchased from other bookstores. Digital Editions can also be used to download books from libraries such as Overdrive. The price of the device is $260.
