Kobo Sage and reMarkable are both premium e-ink tablets with touchscreen and stylus support. They allow to read books without straining your eyes and work with PDF and EPUB documents. Both have large built-in memory for storing books, documents and notes and are designed for long battery life - the e-ink screen requires less power when reading.

Kobo Sage has a smaller 8-inch screen, however, unlike the Remarkable, it has a backlight, so you can read in the dark. It's another advantage is waterproof case (according to IPX8 standard), so you can read on the beach or by the pool. It has more built-in memory - up to 32 GB. Bluetooth is also available for reading audiobooks.

reMarkable is a larger 10.3-inch tablet with higher resolution and slimmer body. It's more suitable for taking notes than for reading: the screen surface is textured to mimic the feel of writing on paper. The tablet supports handwriting digitization and you can write directly on ebook pages. It integrates with cloud services (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) for storing notes and documents.
