2025. Instapaper replaces Pocket on Kobo e-readers

Kobo has introduced a firmware update for most of its e-readers and the main great news is that Instapaper is now available as a new built-in function. It replaces Mozilla Pocket, which was discontinued this summer. This integration will allow Kobo users to save web articles (for example, in a browser or on a mobile device) and then read them on their e-readers. This is especially useful for reading long texts without distractions. Former Pocket users can import their saved articles into Instapaper (until October 8, 2025).
