Kindle Paperwhite remains the best choice for most readers thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio. It features a crisp 7-inch display with a 300 ppi resolution and adjustable warm backlighting, on which text appears sharp and perfectly rendered, almost like ink on paper. The fast processor ensures smooth page turns and more fluid navigation, even when reading large PDFs and illustrated novels. The battery life lasts up to 12 weeks. Its thin case with IPX8 water resistance and light weight make it convenient for travel and commuting. Kindle Paperwhite is available in both Wi-Fi and cellular versions.

A basic 6-inch e-reader with a touchscreen and affordable price. It features Kobo ComfortLight technology, allowing you to read in the dark and adjust the display brightness to your liking. The body is quite lightweight and sleek: it weighs just 172 grams and is 9.2 mm thick at the edges. Inside is a 1000 mAh battery, providing "weeks" of reading on a single charge. 8 GB of internal storage is enough for 6000 ebooks. Naturally, the e-reader includes access to the Kobo e-book store.

2023. Kindle e-readers get List view option for Collections

Amazon has released a small update for Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite devices. It adds a new function in the "Collections" section, which now supports list mode. Until now Grid and List views were available for the Library section, although for reasons known only to Amazon, only the Grid mode was supported in Collections. Perhaps this change will not make a big difference for some users, but many would certainly like to be able to display e-books in the form of a list. Interestingly, the news function is still not available for Kindle Scribe. Perhaps Amazon has other updates for Scribe and the list view will appear later along with them.
