Kindle Colorsoft
Amazon's first color Kindle with a 7-inch high-contrast display and almost true-to-life colors. Its Page Color feature inverts black text and white background pages within books. It's also possible to highlight text in different colors. A single USB-C charge lasts up to 8 weeks (meaning the color display doesn't affect battery life). The e-reader can be charged using a wireless dock (sold separately). The glare-free display and automatically adjusting backlighting allow to read in bright sunlight and late at night. The waterproof case is made from recycled materials. The e-reader is ideal for reading comics and children's books (you can create separate children's profiles).

Adjustable warm backlighting allows you to change the screen tone from white to amber. IPX8 water resistance. Page orientation automatically changes when you rotate the screen. The VoiceView screen reader, accessible via Bluetooth, provides voice feedback, allowing you to control the device and read books using text-to-speech.

2019. Kindle update makes page turn speed faster

Amazon has rolled out new firmware update for most of their Kindle e-Ink e-readers, such as the Oasis 2, Paperwhite 4 and Voyage. Version 5.10.3 simply states that it increases performance issues, but does not go into detail on exactly what that means. I have found that this update drastically increases page turn speed with swipes or taps, this should be a boon for anyone who reads a lot of ebooks. Speaking of ebooks, they open faster now. This update should be pushed out via WIFI in the next few days.
