Tolino Epos vs Tolino Vision

June 04, 2026 | Author: Dhaval Parekh
Tolino Epos and Tolino Vision are both E Ink e-readers produced by Kobo but rebranded for the German market. They are basically designed for purchasing and reading books from local stores and support EPUB and PDF formats. Both feature a built-in screen backlight, support Wi-Fi for downloading books, allow you to change the font size and style and offer long battery life.

However, Tolino Epos is a clone of the premium Kobo Sage model. It has a larger 7.8-inch screen, making it better suited for PDF documents, magazines and regular books with large print, which is convenient for users with low vision.

Tolino Vision is a clone of the basic Kobo Libra 2 model. It has a more compact 6-inch screen, making it easier to fit in a pocket or bag and more comfortable for one-handed reading. It is also noticeably lighter than the Epos.
