PocketBook InkPad
8-inch premium E Ink e-reader with LED frontlight and adjustable colour temperature for comfortable reading day and night long. It has elegant design, compact and impressive ergonomics. The big screen allows to see more information at a single page - you can easily make the font larger and turn pages frequently, so this device is suited for reading professional literature, periodicals, work with graphs and tables including PDF and Djvu. Students will also appreciate e-reader of such a format, because the 8-inch screen is the closest to the standard size of most textbooks. It also features built-in speaker and Bluetooth for audiobook listening (and Text-to-Speech can read aloud any text file). The case provides reliable IPX8 protection against harmful effects of water.

Tolino Epos
Tolino Epos 3 is a copy of the 8-inch Kobo Sage for the German market. It's a premium e-reader with some of the best technical features. Turning pages is easy with manual page-turning buttons, and the new E INK Carta 1200 e-ink technology makes the entire process incredibly fast. The main advantage is that you can buy books from over 16 different bookstores and libraries, and collaborate with them all, not just with Kobo. Unlike the Sage, the Epos lacks note-taking features. Although the Epos has Bluetooth, it lacks an audio player, as most Tolino bookstores don't sell audiobooks. Also, the Kobo Power Cover is incompatible with the Epos, so you can't increase the capacity of its measly 1200 mAh battery. Working with PDFs is also terrible due to a poorly configured rendering engine.

2016. Pocketbook Announces the InkPad 2

Pocketbook InkPad 2 is a new e-reader that was just announced today. This device features an 8 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,200 x 1,600 pixels. It has a front-lit display and physical page turn buttons. The InkPad 2 is powered by a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. There is 4 GB of internal memory, but you can expand it up to 32 GB via the Micro SD. I think people are going to be attracted that this e-reader has a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can listen to audiobooks and music. This e-reader will be available in the near future for $199 Euros.
