Kobo Libra and Tolino Vision are both premium 7" E Ink readers with a similar form factor - with wide right bezel for comfortable grip and physical page-turn buttons. Both devices have Carta 1200 touchscreen with adjustable warm/cool frontlighting, screen rotation and font fine-tuning capabilities, EPUB/PDF support (including Adobe DRM), IPX8 water resistance, Wi-Fi and a USB-C port.

However, Kobo Libra is primarily a client device for Kobo ecosystem - an international bookstore that also offers its own e-book format, KePub with highly flexible typography settings and additional reading features. Using Kobo Libra you can also purchase and listen to audiobooks via Bluetooth. Kobo Libra has numerous integrations, including with the OverDrive service for e-book landing in local libraries, with Instapaper - for bookmarking and postponed reading articles from the internet, with Calibre for synchronization with a desktop library.

Tolino is European e-reader popular in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. It's closely affiliated with DACH book stores (Thalia, Weltbild, Hugendubel, etc.) and provide their e-shop inside. The interface, dictionaries and the catalog are optimized for the German-speaking market. The e-reader offers its own tolino Cloud for synchronizing books and reading progress, the ability to store personal files and add them via email, web reader for reading in a browser. Unlike Kobo, Tolino relies on open ebook formats.
