CoolReader and Moon Reader are both e-book reading apps for Android. They support popular formats like EPUB and FB2, offer customizable fonts and line spacing, night modes and themes, bookmarks and progress saving, text search and creating custom dictionaries.

However, CoolReader is a completely free, open-source app. It's extremely lightweight, uses little resources and runs reliably even on older devices. Its simple, uncluttered interface works seamlessly with the text formats and OPDS catalogs. It also offers very flexible page layout options, even allows manual CSS customization.

Moon Reader has both free and paid versions. It features a rich library of themes and visual effects, cloud syncing, reading statistics tracking and audiobook/TTS support (in paid version only). The app also features advanced gestures and control settings, a convenient books library with sorting and grouping, integration with online directories.
